Becca Rodriguez

Becca Rodriguez represents screenwriters, filmmakers and  authors, and oversees media rights at Curate. She is drawn to distinctive, elevated, dynamic, and captivating material across genre in both fiction and non-fiction and looks for stories that haunt her long after she’s completed them.

Born and raised in Santa Monica, CA Rodriguez pursued her deep passion for literature as an English Literature major while at Occidental College. For several years she worked in the special collections department of her alma mater’s library, so books are part of her DNA. After graduation she started working as an assistant to a partner in talent management at Anonymous Content then pivoted to literary representation and ultimately found her seat in books to film while at Anonymous Content working with Brooke Ehrlich and Geoffrey Sanford. Favorite authors she reads in her free time include: Melissa Broder, Louise Erdrich, David Grann, Shirley Jackson, Carmen Maria Machado, Toni Morrison, Ottessa Moshfegh, and Lisa Taddeo. When she’s not reading, she’s likely outdoors with her Vizsla, Canela. She lives in Los Angeles.
